Fred and Bertha

This sculpture was commissioned by Fred Meijer and was created from a photograph of Fred as a young boy, with his cow, Bertha. This sculpture resides in Michigan’s Farm Garden. It is a prominent feature in this particular garden which pays homage to the rural childhood of both Lena and Fred Meijer.
