Reynard

Playful animal imagery is a prominent feature in Meijer Gardens' early collection. Says Shelley Curtiss, “Reynard, the red fox, is the name of a French storybook character who is sly, witty, and a little foolish and silly. My fox is a kind of characterization of the typical Reynard—country gentleman—witty and a little arrogant and looking silly.”
