Seven Saints and Sinners

Marshall Fredericks was one of Michigan’s most prolific and talented sculptors. With 29 sculptures, Meijer Gardens is fortunate to house one of the largest collections of Frederick’s work. Seven Saints and Sinners is an example of Frederick’s elongated and simplified style, which lends an air of elegance to the figures. Each figure is holding an object or gesturing in a way that represents a saintly or sinful character.
