Sir Pig

Creating storybook-like scenes of a depression-era farm is a goal at Michigan's Farm Garden. Sir Pig is a bronze sculpture created in 1994. Sculptor Mary Zimmerman frequently creates sculptures based on farm life. Zimmerman began her career at her family’s small foundry, creating casts of other sculptors’ work. She soon began creating her own sculptures.
